Corporate Communications

Interactive technologies like augmented and virtual reality provide a new frontier for connecting and communicating with internal and external stakeholders. Instead of simply stating the company’s visions, these technologies can create a shared perspective on missions, goals, values, strategies, and future plans from an entirely customizable environment.

Interactive technologies are ideal tools for a corporate communications strategy due to the level of customizability and control they allow. Below are a few sample use cases that show how other companies have used such technologies to further their communications strategies.

Facility Tours and Case Studies

Guide investors, customers, or other stakeholders through facilities, product applications and more. Abstract worked with Aggreko to created a 360 degree virtual walkthrough of five job sites that supply 47MW of reliable power to areas of Louisiana that were ravaged by Hurricane Laura.

Interactive Corporate History

Companies with extensive histories often have incredible stories to tell, and virtual reality walkthroughs provide a unique way of experiencing them.

Nestle put together a virtual walkthrough for their Nest Museum. The experience walks people through the pages of their company’s history, and even allows users to explore Henri-Nestlé’s laboratory.

Guided Tours

AudiStream connects car enthusiasts, potential clients, or even curious investors with a tour guide for an in-depth, interactive tour of Audi’s manufacturing facility in Ingolstadt, Germany. Participants can interact with the guide and ask questions through video feed or chat.
